J M Smith Names New President of Integral Solutions Group
J M Smith Corporation has named Joe Strayer president of Integral Solutions Group (ISG). Strayer will oversee day-to-day operations as well as lead the strategic vision of the organization. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Integral Solutions Group and was responsible for overseeing the company’s general management and day-to-day operations.
During his tenure, ISG completed a merger with Radiate Technologies to form the most extensive IT service company in South Carolina. The company has also grown organically in the last 12 months, with increased volumes in the managed services sector requiring an expansion of the Tier IV data center.
“Joe has mobilized his team at ISG, and the results have been good,” stated William Cobb, Chairman and CEO of J M Smith Corporation. “This promotion is recognition of his hard work and commitment to both ISG and J M Smith Corporation. I am confident that he will have continued success in this role.”
Strayer joined the J M Smith Corporation in 1996 as a hardware technician with QS/1. In 2005, he worked on the transition for the QS/1 Network Solutions Group to the company that became Integral Solutions Group. Strayer was named vice president in 2009, and became Senior Vice President in 2015.
“The success achieved at ISG over the last year has been the result of great teamwork,” said Strayer. “As we continue to grow our customer base, we won’t lose site of the commitment to our customers and to our team.”
